These terms cover the Kestrel application and the website kestrelmedia.app, operated by Ivan Chabanenko (chbnk), see Impressum.

The app

Kestrel is an internal tool for publishing to the operator's own YouTube channels. It is not offered as a service to third parties and is provided as is. Using Kestrel's YouTube features means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Content

Clips on our channels are cut from videos published under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) or used with the creator's permission, and each credits its source with a link. Science episodes are original works; their voices are AI-generated and disclosed as such.

Rights holders

If you believe a video infringes your rights, write to kestrel.shorts.now@gmail.com with the video link. We review requests within 48 hours and remove content where the claim is valid.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we do not control their content.

Law

German law applies.
